Even in a crowd, one can feel lonely.
I went out with some friends amd family these past days, trying to enjoy the festivities but somehow they all seem incomplete. I dunno why, dunno how. I just feel sad. Not even a kilig event could make up for the feeling. I feel tired. I feel lonely. I feel like on the verge of a breakdown.

goodbyes
i have a hard time saying goodbye. most of the time, i try to block the thought. or go into denial. or buy myself something i really don't need.
it's more painful when i see my friends saying goodbye to their loved ones. my heart breaks knowing that they are in so much pain and understanding how it is to lose someone you dearly love - knowing that they won't be by your side or that no one will laugh at your corniest joke or even just the thought that the smile you love so much will not be seen anymore.

the past week
the past week went by in a blur.
work still occupied the most part of my week. i am just happy to have somewhere to go to and eat at (LOL) everytime the work gets done for the day.
i attended a friends's bday last friday and it was fun! i was hesitant at first but am so glad i did not pass on the ocassion.
some old friends got back this week too and he and we had catch-up time last night. it's been eight long years since we all last saw each other. so much has happened since then. some were married. some have kids. some were already separated/annuled. whoa. and here i am feeling bad about a teeny weeny thing.
and lastly!!!! i got this from d'observer:
SA WAKAS! Marami na namang PARE KO sa TINDAHAN NI ALING NENA ang liLIGAYA sa ALAPAAP, TEARJERKY na naman si Julie, at ma-i-inlab na naman si SHIRLEY sa post sa MAGASIN ng Philstar, WAG MO NANG ITANONG kung KAILAN, it's not LIGHTYEARS away anymore. Let's all SHAKE OUR HEAD WITH A SMILE. Isama na si TOYANG at si JAY, let's all have a FINE TIME, TIKMAN at magpa-HARANA sa Eraserheads: The Final Set! There's no WAITING FOR THE BUS anymore. It's not HARD TO BELIEVE. Hindi ito MALING AKALA.Ito ay PARA SA MASA. Mag OVERDRIVE na sa March 7. MINSAN lang to.
can't wait!!!!

Retrograde
A planet is described as retrograde when it appears to be moving backwards through the zodiac.
Mercury Retrograde is a time when things go wrong, especially in the communications department.
Astrology-fengshui.com lists these dates for this:
January 11 - February 1
May 7 - May 30
September 7 - September 29
Now you're warned.
During Mercury Retrograde, electronic gadgets are especially prone to disaster.
If possible, resist buying anything involving communications technology during this time.
Never sign contracts..
Don’t sign up for cell phone service, health club memberships, car leases or insurance policies.
Don’t even think about buying a house.
Try to delay putting your name on any document until after Mercury Retrograde is over.
Never make a major purchase, especially a car during Mercury Retrograde.
Recheck your work and always double-check your messages. Hesitate to press the SEND button on your e-mails until you read them over.
Write down information when playing back voice messages – don’t rely on your memory.
Leave early to all appointments when possible and don’t be surprised if you arrive late.
However, this is a time to:
Review your life and the decisions you’ve made.
Renew your sense of purpose.
Revise your attitudes and routines.
Return to your core set of values.Readjust your priorities.
Retreat to give yourself the space you need.
Recommit to the goals you believe are worth-while.
Reflect on who you are and where you’re going.
Recharge your batteries.
Repair any damage you may have caused to objects or relationships.
Reward yourself for success.

thoughts to ponder:
Gratitude is a powerful process for shifting your energy and bringing more of what you want into your life. Be grateful for what you already have, and you will attract more good things.
Do what you love. If you don't know what brings you joy, ask,
"what is my joy?" As you commit to your joy, you will attract an
avalanche of joyful things because you are radiating joy.
