i impose too much of the good things on the people i care for and love, only for them to retreat from it. it's time for me to back off, re-center myself, and move forward.

Good company makes up for all the inconveniences and kadiri moments.

At the end of the day, positions and titles can be taken away. The world has it's fair share of people who will always try to get ahead using unprofessional, unethical, dishonest, deceitful, corrupt and shameless means. They may think they can get ahead by putting other people down, lying and discrediting people, but the consequences up ahead will far outweigh the temporary benefits and the fleeting "glory of success".
